Sidharta Aboejono Martoredjo (SAM) Fund for Art and Ecology brings together art and ecology through critical, collaborative and creative activities. It encourages artists and the art world to develop an interest in environmental issues through thought, innovation, reflection, and various forms of creative ideas for the process of transitioning to ecological living arrangements and practices. The SAM Fund for Art and Ecology actively provides funding support to Indonesian artists, researchers, curators and creative workers to create artworks, workshops and research, as well as participate in art exhibitions and residencies in collaboration with partner institutions abroad.
